How pricing works
Every wedding is quoted, because the look, the party and the travel are never quite the same. Here is what moves the total and when you see it.
What decides the price
I quote each wedding on what it asks of me. These are the things that change the total.
The look: a smooth updo, a braided crown or soft waves
Hair length and thickness
The number of looks in the party
The distance to your venue and how early I need to start
Add-ons such as a veil, accessories or a second look
What the trial covers
The trial is a full appointment in the studio. We try the look, test your veil and write down the order and timing of the morning. It is booked and paid as its own service, and what you pay for it goes toward your total if you book your date.
Deposits
After the trial you sign a contract and pay a deposit that holds your date. The deposit goes toward your total, and the contract sets its amount.
Canceling or running late
If your date changes, tell me as soon as you can and we'll look at the next open date. The contract sets how much notice I ask for and what happens to the deposit.
Add-ons and changes on the day
A veil placement, a second look for the reception or a flower girl style is priced on its own and agreed before the morning, in writing. If you want to add someone on the day, I tell you whether the schedule has room and what it adds.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. You can give one to me on the morning or add it when you pay the balance.
Gift cards and packages
A gift card for a trial or a wedding morning works for any amount. Buy one on my gift card page and send it to the bride.
Your prices are in writing before you sign, and the booking page shows them after we've talked.
Questions about your quote?
Tell me about your wedding and I'll send the total in writing.
