The trial
Try the look before you commit
A full appointment in my studio, a few months before your date, for the bride.
You wear the look with your veil or headpiece, and we change it until it feels like you. Then I write down the plan for the morning, and you decide whether to sign.

What happens
The trial, step by step
- 01
Step 1: We talk
I look at your photographs, your dress and your hair as it is, and ask how you want to feel in the photographs.
About 20 minutes
- 02
Step 2: We try
I style your hair and place your veil. We try a second arrangement if the first isn't right.
60–90 minutes
- 03
Step 3: We adjust
You sit with it, look from every side, and tell me what to change. I note each pin.
About 15 minutes
- 04
Step 4: We plan
I write down the order and timing of the morning and send it with your contract.
Sent within a few days

Questions about the trial
Do I need a trial?
Yes, for the bride. The trial is where we settle the look, test your veil and write the plan for the morning. Bridesmaids and guests don't need one.
What should I bring to the trial?
Your veil or headpiece, photographs of looks you like, a photo of your dress's neckline and back, and hair washed, dry and worn the way you'll wear it on the day.
Do you work with my hair type?
I style straight, wavy and curly hair at most lengths. If a look needs your hair longer or fuller, I tell you at the trial and we plan from there.
